Position: Program Co-ordinator/Technical Assistant

Salary: US$ 900-1000/month (this includes medical insurance, breakfast/lunch/dinner coupons (week days only).

Job Type: Temporary for one year but likely to extend based on candidates performance and interest.

South Sea Institute, Geoje

In this critical support role, the key duties include providing secretarial and administrative support to the Director, AMETEC, assisting chemical analysis in the laboratory, liaising with government and non-government bodies and undertaking research.

The successful applicant will have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills in English, proven ability to work in a team and office administration experience including MS Word, database and publishing software.

Relevant qualifications includes basic degree in Science, preferably Chemistry with administrative skills.

South Sea Institute (SSI) is a division of Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute situated in Geoje, South Korea. This island town has a year round pleasant weather condition with three distinct seasons Summer, Autumn and Winter. Accommodation will be provided in

the Institute at nominal charge (US$ 60/month).
